Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order manga volume 3 is confirmed for December 1, 2026. Panini Comics announced the third volume of its manga adaptation of the 2019 Respawn Entertainment game, continuing the Cal Kestis story in print format ahead of any sequel game release.
Volumes 1 and 2 of the same manga series arrived in March 2026 and May 2026, establishing the adapted storyline and building the readership before this third installment. Volume 3 picks up with Cal in a difficult place: his lightsaber destroyed, haunted by memories he can’t escape, and facing tests the previous entries in the story only hinted at. The book runs approximately 200 pages and takes Cal to new planets while drawing deeper into his relationship with his deceased master, Jaro Tapal.
The Mantis crew — Greez, Cere, and the rest — are part of the story. The adaptation stays close to the original game’s emotional core, which centered on grief, survival, and what it means to carry on as a Jedi when the Order no longer exists.
The announcement came alongside news of another upcoming Star Wars title: Star Wars: Twin Crossroads, a book from Random House Worlds set for April 6, 2027. Details on that project remain limited, but Lucasfilm’s Michael Siglain confirmed the listing was intentional and is “part of the plan,” suggesting more will be revealed through official channels.
The Fallen Order manga is based on the 2019 video game of the same name, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA. That game followed Cal Kestis — a young Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 — as he tried to rebuild the Jedi Order while being hunted by the Empire. It sold well enough to prompt a sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, in 2023.
EA confirmed in 2024 that a third game in the series, described as the “final chapter” of Cal Kestis’s story, was in development. No release date for that game has been announced. The manga adaptation continues independently of the game’s development timeline, giving readers a version of Cal’s story in a different format while the sequel takes shape.
The manga adaptation has a different style and pacing from the game but covers the same story beats and characters that made Fallen Order one of the more well-received Star Wars games of recent years. For readers who haven’t played the game, Volume 3 will require the earlier two volumes as foundation — the story is told as a continuous narrative, not a standalone entry.
Panini Comics has not yet confirmed whether a fourth volume will follow after December 2026, or whether the manga adaptation will continue into the events of Jedi: Survivor.
