Last Chance: 9 Games Leaving PS Plus Catalog
The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog will see a major update in August 2026. Sony has confirmed that a total of 9 games will officially leave the subscription service on August 18. Among them, 5 titles were originally scheduled to depart in July but received a short reprieve.
This removal list includes several notable titles: Vanillaware’s tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord, which received widespread acclaim and is considered by many players as a spiritual successor to Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics. Also, Dead Island 2, a fast-paced zombie action game, is also highly anticipated. Other games leaving include Earth Defense Force 6, the stop-motion animated adventure Harold Halibut, and more.
