The next mainline entry is now in pre-production. Bethesda’s official note confirms the studio is investing to bring its core teams closer together, aiming to build titles faster and support them longer.

A “huge” new DLC called Raven Rock is coming to Fallout 76, serving as a prequel to Fallout 3. The announcement is part of Bethesda’s broader push to support its franchises for “decades to come”.

A major part of the wait for new titles revolves around Creation Engine 3, which Bethesda has been developing specifically to boost simultaneous franchise development and improve Creation Club tooling. The engine is expected to underpin future Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Starfield projects.
