The first-ever “Legendary Warbond” for Helldivers 2 arrives on August 26, bringing iconic Halo: ODST gear to the popular shooter. This crossover coincides with Helldivers 2’s Xbox Series X|S debut, marking a significant moment of platform collaboration between PlayStation and Xbox.
Priced at 1,500 Super Credits (approximately $15), the Helldivers 2 x Halo: ODST Legendary Warbond introduces four signature weapons from the Halo universe: the MA5C Assault Rifle with its digital ammo counter, the M7S SMG with built-in suppressor, the M90A Shotgun featuring a tactical flashlight, and the M6C/SOCOM Pistol. Notably, the pistol introduces the first suppressor in Helldivers 2, enhancing stealth gameplay options.
Players can also equip two ODST-inspired armor sets: the A-9 Helljumper and A-35 Recon. Both include the “Feet First” passive ability, which provides 30% increased range for discovering points of interest, makes movement quieter, and grants immunity to leg injuries.
The warbond includes additional cosmetic items such as the Honored Heirloom and Eye of the Clandestine capes, ODST-themed player cards, a “Rookie” player title, and a “Mean Green” vehicle pattern for hellpods, shuttles, exosuits, and FRVs.

The naming of the ODST units has been cleverly adapted to fit the Helldivers universe. While in Halo they’re known as “Orbital Drop Shock Troopers,” in Helldivers 2 they’ve been renamed “Obedient Democracy Support Troopers,” maintaining the game’s satirical tone.
