The next chapter of Lies of P arrives in Summer 2025. This new addition, called Overture, takes place before the events of the original game that sold over one million copies in 2023.
Game director Jiwon Choi explains why they’re revisiting the story: “We knew that the end of Lies of P was just the beginning. Overture lets us tell the full story we’ve always wanted to share.”

Players return to Krat, a city inspired by the late 1800s, but this time they’ll see it before its downfall. The game follows a character named Lea, the Legendary Stalker, through streets now covered in snow – a stark change from the original game’s setting.
Combat gets major updates that give players more choices. The new weapons include a bow for fighting from a distance, powerful claws mentioned in the gameplay trailer, and a light sword capable of rapid slashes. These additions offer players different combat options to tackle the challenges ahead.
