PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to nine new games on June 17, including a day-one launch title. The June 2025 additions bring a mix of genres spanning cooperative shooters, horror experiences, simulation games, and a classic PS2 title.
FBC: Firebreak headlines the lineup, launching directly into the PlayStation Plus catalog on its release day. This cooperative first-person shooter is set in the world of Control, where players join forces as part of a specialized team tackling paranormal threats in a federal agency under siege. Players can team up with up to two others to contain otherworldly chaos.
In a preview of FBC: Firebreak, Engadget’s Jessica Conditt described it as “incredibly fun” and “a thoughtful and focused entry in the co-op shooter genre.” The game blends conventional gunplay with supernatural abilities, continuing the strange atmosphere established in Control.
Battlefield 2042 returns to PlayStation Plus, offering large-scale multiplayer combat across maps from both the near-future setting and classic Battlefield environments. The game previously appeared as a PlayStation Plus Essential title in March 2023 and now joins the Extra and Premium catalog.
Horror fans get Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, challenging players to maintain a haunted pizzeria as Fazbear employees. The VR experience builds on the franchise’s signature jump scares and eerie atmosphere.

These new additions build upon the Essential tier games released earlier this month, which included NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
The timing of these releases follows Sony’s “Days of Play” celebration, which recently offered PlayStation Plus subscription discounts and early access to some games.
All nine new titles will be available to download starting June 17, with FBC: Firebreak requiring an Extra or Premium membership to access on its launch day. Deus Ex: The Conspiracy will only be available to Premium subscribers.
PlayStation Plus continues its tiered subscription model with Essential providing monthly games, Extra adding a game catalog, and Premium including classic titles and game trials. This June lineup demonstrates Sony’s strategy of combining new releases, recent hits, and nostalgic classics to appeal to different gaming preferences.
