Dead by Daylight players will soon face zombies in The Fog as Rick Grimes and Michonne from AMC’s “The Walking Dead” join the popular horror game on July 29. Currently available on the Public Test Build (PTB), this long-awaited crossover brings fan-favorite survivors and unique gameplay mechanics to Behaviour Interactive’s multiplayer hit.
The collaboration introduces Rick Grimes and Michonne as playable survivors, each with three distinct perks designed to enhance teamwork. Rick’s abilities focus on leadership and resource management, allowing him to construct “Fragile Pallets” from broken ones after searching chests. His “Come and Get Me!” perk can draw the Killer’s attention while protecting injured teammates by hiding their blood trails and silencing their sounds.
Michonne’s perks emphasize evasion and recovery, with “Conviction” enabling instant revival from the downed state after healing others, while “Last Stand” allows her to stun Killers with fast vaults after spending time in their Terror Radius.
Adding authenticity to the experience, original actors Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus provide voice acting for Rick and Daryl respectively. While Daryl isn’t a standalone character, he joins as a Legendary Outfit for Rick, giving players another way to experience the crossover.
