Sports fans and skaters rejoice as two heavyweight franchises lead an exciting week of Xbox releases. From July 7-11, players will see over 20 new titles hit the Xbox ecosystem, with EA Sports College Football 26 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 headlining the lineup.

EA Sports College Football 26 marks the return of college football gaming with its worldwide launch on July 10. Players can get early access starting July 7 through the Deluxe Edition. The game brings more than 10,000 college athletes, 2,700 new plays, and authentic representations of 136 FBS schools. A significant addition is the introduction of crossplay for Dynasty Mode between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms—a first for the franchise.

For skateboarding enthusiasts, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 arrives July 11, with Digital Deluxe owners gaining early access from July 8. Developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision, this remaster combines two beloved classics with updated visuals, new skaters (including guest characters like Doom Slayer), and expanded creation features. The game includes cross-platform multiplayer and will be available day one on Game Pass.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster also joins the lineup on July 10, bringing the classic horror FPS to modern platforms. Nightdive Studios has enhanced the original while retaining its atmospheric sci-fi horror elements, now featuring cross-play co-op multiplayer.

For casual gamers, Minami Lane launches July 9 on Game Pass. This cozy management sim set on a Japanese-inspired street offers 2-4 hours of gameplay where players build and manage their own street filled with shops like ramen spots and boba cafes. Its charming, hand-drawn art style and relaxing gameplay make it a perfect counterbalance to the week’s action-heavy titles.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a significant boost this week with several day-one additions. Along with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 and Minami Lane, subscribers can also access EA Sports College Football 26 through a 10-hour EA Play trial (via Game Pass Ultimate) and The Ascent (Cloud, Console, PC) on July 8.

Other notable releases include Holdfast: Nations At War, a multiplayer shooter set in the Napoleonic Era supporting over 150 players per server; Bendy and the Dark Revival, a first-person survival horror game; and Canine, another terrifying survival horror experience.

The week highlights several gaming industry trends, including the continued strength of sports franchises, the ongoing remaster renaissance, and Game Pass’s evolution as a discovery platform for both major releases and indie titles.

Price points for the major releases follow industry standards with EA Sports College Football 26 Standard Edition priced at $59.99, while the Deluxe Edition offers early access and additional content. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is included with Game Pass but can be purchased separately with the Digital Deluxe Edition offering early access and exclusive content like the Doom Slayer character. System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is priced competitively for a remastered classic, while Minami Lane is available at a budget-friendly price point.

System requirements for these games are optimized for Xbox Series X|S consoles, with many titles offering Smart Delivery to ensure the best possible performance on current-generation hardware. Xbox Series X versions of titles like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will run at native 4K and 60 FPS in Fidelity Mode, while Series S versions render at 1440p and upscale to 4K. With this diverse lineup catering to various gaming preferences, the second week of July promises something for every Xbox player, whether they prefer sports simulations, arcade action, horror experiences, or cozy management games.
