Amazon Prime Gaming has unveiled its October 2025 lineup, featuring 14 free PC games worth nearly $250 in total. The standout titles include Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, arriving just months before the second season of Amazon’s Fallout TV series premieres on December 17.

Unlike subscription services where games disappear when memberships end, Prime Gaming lets subscribers keep these games permanently, even after canceling their Amazon Prime subscription.

“Prime members can claim a fresh lineup of free games, including Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition,” notes Chris Leggett in the official Prime Gaming announcement.

The games will release throughout October on four consecutive Thursdays. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition becomes available on October 16, while Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition arrives on October 23. Both games come with all their downloadable content (DLC) included.

For fans of the Fallout TV series, these games offer valuable context for the upcoming second season. The show’s new season will feature locations from Fallout: New Vegas, including the Lucky 38 Casino and Resort, which has been referenced in set photos and production material. This casino serves as headquarters for Mr. House, a central figure in Fallout: New Vegas who is expected to play a major role in the upcoming season.

Other notable October titles include strategy game XCOM 2 (October 9) and several horror-themed games timed for Halloween, such as Tormented Souls (available now), True Fear: Forsaken Souls Parts 1 & 2 (October 16/23), and You Will Die Here Tonight (October 30).

Most games in the October collection can be redeemed through GOG, while others require the Amazon Games App or Legacy Games launcher. None of the games are available through Steam, which may disappoint some players expecting Steam keys.

Beyond the downloadable games, Prime members can also access a rotating selection of titles through Amazon Luna, the company’s cloud gaming service. These include Borderlands 3, Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition, MotoGP 25, and SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. Luna access varies by region and is currently available in the US, UK, Canada, and several European countries.

Any games claimed remain in the user’s library permanently, regardless of future Prime membership status.
