NBA 2 K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Destiny 2: The Final Shape make up the June 2025 lineup, offering a mix of sports, horror, action, and sci-fi titles.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape, which concludes the game’s decade-long Light and Darkness saga, is available early from May 28. The other three titles will become available on June 3 and remain accessible until June 30 for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

NBA 2K25 brings basketball simulation to both PS4 and PS5, featuring “ProPLAY technology” that aims to create more realistic gameplay. The game includes several modes like MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA. However, multiple gaming outlets have noted concerns about what GameSpot calls “egregious microtransactions” within the game.

Alone in the Dark, exclusive to PS5, reimagines the classic 1992 survival horror game. Set in 1920s America, players can choose between two characters as they explore Derceto Manor and face supernatural threats. The game stars actors David Harbour and Jodie Comer, though some players have reported performance issues since its launch. This inclusion comes despite the recent closure of its developer, Pieces Interactive.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, available on both PS4 and PS5, is widely described as a spiritual successor to Jet Set Radio. This action-adventure platformer features cel-shaded visuals and focuses on graffiti, skating, and combos in a futuristic city setting.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will receive additional games. Extra members gain access to Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (June 4), Another Crab’s Treasure (May 29), Skull and Bones (June 2), and Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition (June 10). Premium subscribers also get classic PS1 titles Myst and Riven (June 5).

Player reactions to the June lineup have been mixed. Many subscribers are particularly excited about Alone in the Dark, with some calling it a “massive win” for those who had been waiting to play it. The inclusion of NBA 2 K25 has received more divided feedback, with some players questioning the value of annual sports titles in the subscription service.

The Days of Play 2025 event also offers discounts on PlayStation consoles, games, and PS Plus memberships, encouraging users to try or upgrade their subscriptions.

Six games will leave the PS Plus library on June 17: After Us, Avicii Invector, Inscryption, Kayak VR: Mirage, Monster Hunter Rise, and Rogue Legacy 2. These titles are classified as “Last Chance to Play” and will no longer be accessible after removal, even if downloaded, unless purchased separately.
